Online Application Instructions
Please follow these guidelines for completing the application. You will NOT be required to fill out the entire application, only those sections identified below. It is advised that you print out these instructions before you begin the application.
Step 1
Point your Web browser to http://apply.wisconsin.edu/.
Step 2
The first time you use the application you will need to select “Register as a New User". As part of the registration process, you will assign yourself a login ID and password. You will use this ID and password should you need to return to the application at a later time. All of your data will be saved for you.
Step 3
Complete the “Manage Your Account Details” page.
Step 4
From the menu on the left, select “Create a New Application”.
You’ll be working through several single question pages as the application works to determine the type of application you require based on your answers. One of the pages will ask you to select your degree program. You should select “Nursing - RN to BSN: BSN-LINC (online non-WI students)” from the list of options.
When you have completed this step, you’ll be presented with an application summary reflecting the answers to your questions. Review your summary. If everything appears to be correct, select “commit”. If you need to make any changes, use the “previous” button to go back to make changes.
Step 5
Complete the remaining sections of the application through the “Final Check for Errors”.
Step 6
You’ll need to “sign” your application by providing your name and date of birth.
Step 7
You will be given an opportunity to pay the non-refundable application fee online. MasterCard and Visa are accepted. You may pay at the time of submission or return later to submit payment. Checks are also accepted. The application fee is $35.00.
Step 8
Have official copies of all post-secondary transcripts sent to the admission office at UW-Green Bay:

If post-secondary coursework has been completed in a foreign institution, students will be required to have those transcripts verified at Educational Credential Evaluators in Milwaukee. The cost to the student is an additional $120. Information about this procedure will be mailed upon acceptance to the program
Step 9
Mail or FAX a copy of your RN license to the nursing department.
